Again! This has lead to a backlog of blog entries…I have three stories mentally pending. Being the forward thinker that I am, it took far too many days (10 approximately) before it occurred to me to turn on my VPN and then try loading wordpress. Not surprisingly it worked. For those who are not technologically saavy (unlike myself! Yaaa right…) My VPN tells the Chinese government that my computer is actually accessing the internet in Victoria, Canada rather then from my red sofa in Dalian. Every time I turn it on and am able to access sites like Facebook or Youtube I feel like yipping out “Fooled you!” but I don’t…because that would immature.
The result of this newfound blockage is a blog trilogy. One blog post that should have been three over the successive month, badly clumped together in a make-do & make-up post. Regrettably, there should have been many more fun and exciting things to write about but I forgot how much the first term of school kicks my good teacher intentions out the window and leaves me instead grasping for last minute and just o.k teacher straws. Sometimes I wish I could write more about school and work ( I have some pretty good student quotes stashed away by now) but unfortunately there is that whole professionalism thing. Anyways, back to my point. Don’t judge that these are the things I’m writing about. Sometimes it’s the small things that work their way in and create the moments we view as defining or just the moments that stay with us when the day is over.
