This blog is about sharing stories. Most I collect from my personal life and journey but others are learned and loaned from others – when their story(ies) intersect my own. I have a tendency to add splashes of colour to these stories (big fish stories as my family likes to say) but I promise they’re not gross exaggerations, just a slight blurring of lines and dips into imaginative and creative license. My favourite stories have always felt like reality steeped in magic.
I’m a Canadian who currently lives in Asuncion, Paraguay with my (relatively) new husband. Previously, I worked and lived for two years in Dalian, China and for three years in Lahore, Pakistan. Β Like most people, I am many things, including (but not limited to!) a teacher, writer, photographer, traveler and food eating/cooking enthusiast.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing in my story.

Greetings from Manchester Connecticut where today it’s our first day of spring weather. It’s been miserably cold ever since you visited here … By the way flavourful, rich & full bodied sounds like you are describing Canadian beer that you (and certainly Neil) miss. Love the blog et photos, merci beaucoup ! Uncle David
Thank you Uncle Dave! Sending love to you guys.
